La Baule and Guérande
La Baule and Guerande, or ‘chic’ and ‘history’
During your stay at the Atlantic coast you will enjoy the fresh sea air and the rich culture and history of our beautiful region, the old Brittany. Near the campsite, on the other side of the Loire estuary and reachable via the bridge of Saint Nazaire, you will find the characteristic and famous towns of La Baule, Guerande, and Le Croisic. Despite their proximity, each town has its own characteristic atmosphere.
La Baule and the Bay of Pouliguen are famous for its long sandy beaches, making it the ultimate destination for a perfect beach holiday. Shopping and relaxation on the beach are the key words for this fabulous Bay with over 9 km of sandy beach.
A few kilometres from La Baule, you will find a characteristic town that is situated on a peninsula and amidst a savage coastline with creeks and rocks: Le Croisic. With its typical folklore and beautiful coastal nature, Le Croisic offers a unique experience in Southern Brittany.
