Regional nature reserve<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Labelled a regional nature reserve<\/strong>, Pointe Saint Gildas extends over 11.5 hectares. This rocky outcrop on the Atlantic Ocean boasts a variety of natural environments<\/strong> (cliffs, dunes, heather moors, grazed meadows and orchid lawns)<\/em> that are home to a wealth of flora and fauna. Follow the marked trails and take time to observe the vegetation. Keep your eyes peeled or use binoculars to spot the many animal species that live here: birds<\/strong> such as the Pitchou Warbler and the Maritime Pipit, as well as insects<\/strong>, not forgetting the famous Ouessant sheep that ensure the upkeep of this preserved area<\/strong>.
