On the beach, La Cabane des Sablons welcomes visitors from April to September. This small guinguette offers a simple but tasty menu: salads, sandwiches, tapas in the evening, ice creams and cold drinks to enjoy on the terrace or with your feet in the sand. Plage des Sablons<\/strong> is also famous for the Vierge du Rocher, a statue erected in 1880 by a local landowner after surviving a fall. She watches over bathers from a rock cavity accessible by cliffside stairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plage des Sablons<\/strong> is as beautiful in the sunshine as it is overcast, but if the weather’s fickle or there’s rain or gusts in the forecast, don’t worry: there are plenty of alternatives if you’re wondering what to do in Pornic when it rains. Visit the museums, stroll through the town center or explore the surrounding Pays de Retz. Even if the sky is overcast, you’ll still enjoy your camping holiday! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I get to Les Sablons beach from Flower Camping La Guichardi\u00e8re?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Sablons beach<\/strong> is easily reached on foot or by bike via the coastal path that runs through Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer. The path offers lovely views of the cliffs and ocean. If you’re staying at our wi-fi campsite<\/a>, you can also cycle there. It’s a great way to enjoy the west coast while getting to a place that’s quieter than the big beaches of downtown Pornic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small parking lot is also available nearby for those who prefer to come by car. In high season, however, it’s best to arrive early to find a space easily. The access road is safe and well signposted, and the descent to the beach takes just a few minutes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
