An exceptional location in La Plaine-sur-Mer<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few ideas for a nice week in our beautiful region:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A stroll along the “sentier des Douaniers”,<\/strong> the wild coastline and its moors, between cliffs and creeks, with a stopover at lunchtime in one of the restaurants of La Gravette, La Tara, La Pr\u00e9e, Pr\u00e9failles or even Pornic if you fancy a longer hike! Numerous free “nature” walks in the heart of Pays de Retz are organized by the Hirondelle association (Information and registration on 02 51 74 02 62). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A day on the theme of relaxation<\/strong> at the Resort H\u00f4tel Thalasso et Spa Alliance Pornic, for example the “sun escape” day: 1 hydromassage bath, 1 moisturizing Coton wrap, 1 Coconut oil massage (20mn) and access to the Espace Forme from 9am to 8pm, you’ll leave feeling zen and refreshed! The center offers 2 restaurants, “La Source”, a traditional restaurant with seasonal recipes overlooking the ocean (all-you-can-eat seafood buffet on Wednesdays) and “La Terrasse”, a 100% organic diet restaurant for a day out on the theme of balance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A<\/strong> sea kayak trip<\/strong> is a great way to discover the coastline in a whole new way. You’ll be able to explore little coves for lovers, discover the birds that live along our coasts, visit fisheries, beaches and cliffs… and enjoy a gourmet break by the sea! But you can also discover Pornic’s “country side” with kayak trips on the Haute-Perche canal, which winds its way through bocage, fisheries and forest, an ideal natural site for discovering the flora and fauna (Kayak Nomade \u00e0 Pornic). In Port Saint P\u00e8re, Escapade Nature takes you on an electric boat tour of the marshes of the Lac de Granlieu nature reserve, where you’ll discover herons, egrets, storks… and many other surprises if you’re observant. Finish the walk at the Maison du Lac and delve into the lake’s secrets. You can also take a romantic kayak or stand-up paddle trip (supervised by an instructor) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bike ride<\/strong>, thanks to the V\u00e9loc\u00e9an, greenways or cycle paths take you as far as Pornic (its old port, Gilles de Rais’ castle, …) or Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef (its galettes and beautiful sandy beaches) for a walk combining countryside and coastline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For gourmets, discover a number of small local producers<\/strong>: mussels (Baudet in La Plaine-sur-Mer), oysters (La Perle de Jade in La Bernerie, Gadet in Les Moutiers), wines (Domaine du Sillon c\u00f4tier in Les Moutiers), salt (Les Salines de Millac and Tenue de Mareil in Les Moutiers), strawberries in all their forms (La Fraiseraie in Tharon-Plage and Pornic), cheese (Fromagerie du Cur\u00e9 Nantais in Pornic)…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, you won’t have time to get bored… and you may even have to extend your stay with us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
