What are the opening dates for the 2026 season?

Our campsite is open from April 18 to September 20, 2026.

Discounts or benefits?

We accept vacation vouchers and offer discounts with our partners (ACSI, FFCC, ANWB, CE rates, etc.). We accept VACAF vouchers: all you have to do is give us your CAF number and your department, and we’ll take care of everything. You only pay the remainder (please note that entitlements will only be calculated once the CAFs for the various departments open, in March/April).

Are there any deposits to be made?

Yes, for mobile-home rentals we ask for a deposit of 250€ for the equipment and 90€ to ensure that the rental is left clean (110€ for 3-bedroom rentals). For pitches, we ask for a deposit of 20€ for the badge. For premium pitches (Freecamp), an additional deposit of 60€ is required to ensure that the private sanitary facilities are left clean.

Can we bring our pets?

We accept pets outside the July/August high season (dogs other than category 1 and 2) on presentation of vaccination certificate, kept on a leash and forbidden to leave them alone in the mobile home. Pets are not allowed in lodges.

Is the campsite quiet?

Yes, La Guichardière is a family campsite. Even in summer, entertainment ends around 11pm.

What kind of events are on offer at La Guichardière?

Children’s workshops (ages 4 to 12) in July and August (arts and crafts, cooking, treasure hunts…) and evening entertainment from mid-June: concerts, themed meals, shows, dance evenings!

What should we bring?

We can lend you all outdoor games equipment (ping-pong, tennis, balls, Molkky …), board games… If you’re renting, we provide sheets, pillowcases, tea towels and small towels in the Grand Confort range and from 7 nights (and bath towels for 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms).

Can we bring our own barbecue?

No, for safety reasons we no longer accept charcoal barbecues, but you’ll find two communal barbecues on the campsite. You can also bring your own electric plancha, or we can rent one (€7/day).

Does the campsite have direct access to the sea?

The sea is 300m from the campsite, and there’s a hiking trail that runs alongside the campsite to Mouton beach and the port of La Gravette. Various beaches: a wild beach on the right for fishing and the Tara beach (swimming) on the left about 200m away.

Are there any shops near the campsite?

A supermarket and all the village shops (bakery, chemist, hairdresser, tobacconist, post office, florist, etc.) are 2.2km away, and the snack bar also has a “convenience store” section and a bread and pastry shop.

What regulations apply to swimming pools?

Our two swimming pools (outdoor and indoor) are heated (26°) and open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the season. For men, remember to bring a swimsuit, as shorts are not permitted, and even for women, only tight-fitting lycra outfits are allowed (1-piece, 2-piece, UV protection t-shirts, etc.), full wetsuits, frilly outfits and pareos are forbidden in the pools. For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to swim in the campsite pool.

How can we get around during our stay at the campsite?

If you don’t come by car, the campsite offers mechanical and electric bicycles for hire (half-day, full-day or for the duration of your stay). In summer (July 1 to August 31), a free shuttle bus takes you to the town of La Plaine sur Mer, as well as to the beaches of Le Cormier (La Plaine) and Port Meleu (Préfailles).

Is there television in the rentals?

Yes, and it’s free.

Is there wifi internet access?

Yes, and it’s free.

Is a motorhome park open to all?

Yes, an oil and water filling station (€6).

What are the arrival/departure times?

For pitches, you can arrive from 2pm (departures until 12pm) and 3pm (with departure at 10am maximum) for rentals.

How many vehicles can fit in each space?

For safety reasons, only one vehicle is allowed per pitch or rental (two vehicles for 3-bedroom/2-bathroom rentals), but parking is available at the campsite entrance if you are bringing several cars.

What can you catch on the surrounding beaches?

La Guichardière campsite is the ideal place for lovers of fishing (several spots within a stone’s throw of the campsite), where you’ll find clams, oysters, cockles, mussels, periwinkles, shrimps…

How far is it to the first beach?

The first bathing beach (plage de la Tara) is 500m to the left of the port of La Gravette, a beautiful beach for fishing is 500m from the campsite (plage de Mouton) to the right of the port of La Gravette.

Do visitors have access to the campsite swimming pool?

No, we do not have a lifeguard and can therefore only accept people mentioned on the booking contract.
