Is it a good idea to go away with little ones?
A vacation break at the campsite for a May bridge
When we go on vacation with young children, we always ask ourselves a lot of questions: for their comfort, but also for our organization as parents!
Camping is ideal!
In fact, it develops their autonomy, unlike renting a gite, we can let them wander around in complete safety: go to the playgrounds or come to the reception to borrow games in complete peace of mind… very few vehicles circulate on the campsite, and at a reassuring speed!
At La Guichardière, children can borrow various outdoor games and board games free of charge. There are several age-appropriate play areas, a bouncy castle and a paddling pool with water games. In season, activity leaders are on hand every morning (except Saturday/Sunday) to supervise your little ones (aged 4 and over) in a variety of workshops (cooking, crafts, painting, games, etc.).
A small family beach (sandy and gently sloping) can be reached on foot or by bike through a gate at the back of the campsite. There’s just one street to cross, a short walk and you’re ready to build sandcastles!
If you’d like to take your children on a bike ride to discover our beautiful hiking trails, there’s a rental point at the campsite reception, where you can rent adult bikes with trailer or baby seat, as well as children’s bikes for older children.
For the youngest of our campers, we also rent out baby kits (cot, bathtub, changing mat, potty, stroller and high chair)!
