Frequently asked questions
- What are the opening dates for the 2024 season? Our campsite is open from April 13 to September 22, 2024.
- Discounts or benefits? We accept vacation vouchers and offer discounts with our partners (ACSI, FFCC, ANWB, CE rates, VACAF… ).
- Can I bring my pet? We accept pets (except category 1 and 2 dogs) on presentation of vaccination certificate (except in cosy lodges), kept on a leash and forbidden to leave them alone in the mobile home.
- What kind of events are on offer at La Guichardière? Children’s workshops in July and August (crafts, cooking, treasure hunts…) and entertainment at the snack bar: concerts, themed meals, shows, dance evenings!
- What should we bring? We can lend you all outdoor play equipment (ping pong, tennis, mini golf, balls, …), board games… If you are renting, we provide sheets, towels and bath mats (for direct bookings). When pitching with Freecamp, you can rent a crockery kit per night.
- Can we bring our own barbecue? Yes, but there are no communal barbecues on site, but you can rent one).
- Does the campsite have direct access to the sea? The sea is 300m from the campsite, and there’s a hiking trail that runs alongside the campsite and ends at Plage du Mouton. Various beaches: 1 wild beach on the right for fishing and 1 bathing beach on the left, about 200m away.
- Are there any shops near the campsite? A supermarket and all the village shops (butcher, baker, hairdresser, tobacconist, post office, florist, etc.) are 2km away, and the snack bar also offers a convenience store and a bread and pastry shop (newspapers in July/August). From July 1 to August 31, a free shuttle service departs from the Port de la Gravette and drops you off in the village.
- What can you fish on our beaches? Clams, oysters, cockles, mussels, periwinkles, shrimps…
- What regulations apply to water parks? The pools and paddling pools are heated, and the water park is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. all season (until 7:30 p.m. in July/August). Remember to bring a short, tight-fitting swimsuit, as shorts are not permitted. Changing rooms are available at the park entrance.
- Is there television in the rentals? Yes, and it’s free.
- Is there wifi internet access? Yes, this one is free.
- Is a motorhome park open to all? Yes, a water filling and emptying station.
- What are the arrival times? You can arrive from 2 p.m. for pitches and from 3 p.m. for rentals.
- How many vehicles can fit in each space? For safety reasons, only one pitch is reserved per site or rental (except for the 6/8 premium mobile home), but parking is available at the entrance if you are coming in a group.
