What are the opening dates for the 2025 season? Our campsite is open from 19 April to 21 September 2025.
Any discounts or advantages? We accept holiday vouchers and offer discounts with our partners (ACSI, FFCC, ANWB, CE rates, etc.). We accept VACAF vouchers, so all you have to do is give us your CAF benefit number and your département and we'll take care of everything, and you only pay the remainder (please note that entitlements will only be calculated once the CAFs for the various départements open, in March/April).
Are there any deposits to be paid? Yes, for mobile-home rentals we ask for a deposit of 250 euros for the equipment and 90€ to ensure that the rental is left clean (110€ for 3-bedroom rentals). For pitches, we ask for a deposit of €20 for the badge. For premium pitches (Freecamp), an additional deposit of 60 euros will be required to ensure that the private sanitary facilities are left clean.
Can I bring my pet? We accept pets outside the July/August high season (dogs other than category 1 and 2) on presentation of their vaccination certificate, kept on a lead and forbidden to leave them alone in the mobile home. Pets are not allowed in the lodges.
Is the campsite quiet? Yes, La Guichardière is a family campsite. Entertainment, even in summer, finishes around 11pm.
What kind of activities are on offer at La Guichardière? Children's workshops (from age 4) in July and August ù and entertainment at the snack bar: concerts, themed meals, shows and dance evenings!
What do I need to bring? We can lend you all the equipment for outdoor games (table tennis, tennis, balls, Molkky, etc.), board games, etc. If you are renting, from the Grand Confort range upwards we provide sheets, pillowcases, tea towels and small towels (and bath towels for the premium range).
Can we bring our own barbecue? Yes, we accept charcoal or electric barbecues. There are no communal barbecues on the site, but you can hire one on site (7 euros per day and 20 euros deposit). The campsite reserves the right to prohibit the use of barbecues during periods of severe drought for obvious safety reasons.
Does the campsite have direct access to the sea? The sea is 300m from the campsite, and there is a footpath that runs alongside the campsite and leads to Mouton beach and the port of La Gravette. There are several beaches: a wild beach on the right for fishing and the Tara beach (swimming) on the left, about 200m away.
Are there any shops close to the campsite? A supermarket and all the local shops (butcher, baker, hairdresser, tobacconist, post office, florist, etc.) are 2km away. The snack bar also has an ‘emergency groceries’ section and a bread and pastries shop (newspapers in July/August).
What are the swimming pool regulations? Our two swimming pools (outdoor and indoor) are heated (26°C) and open from 10am to 7pm throughout the season. Please remember to bring a swimming costume as shorts are not permitted. For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to swim in the campsite pool.
How can we get around the campsite during our stay? If you are not coming by car, the campsite offers mechanical and electric bicycles for hire (half-day, full-day or for the duration of your stay). In summer (from 1 July to 31 August), a free shuttle bus will take you to the town of La Plaine sur Mer, as well as to the beaches of Le Cormier (La Plaine) and Port Meleu (Préfailles).
Is there television in the accommodation? Yes, and it's free.
Is there wifi internet access? Yes, and it's free.
Is there a motorhome area open to all? Yes, an emptying and water filling point (€5.50).
What are the arrival times? You can arrive from 2pm for pitches and 3pm for rentals.
How many vehicles can I park on each pitch? For safety reasons, only one pitch is reserved per pitch or rental (two pitches for premium 3-bedroom/2-bathroom rentals), but a car park is available at the campsite entrance if you are bringing several cars.
What can you fish on our beaches? La Guichardière campsite is the ideal place for lovers of fishing on foot (several spots within a stone's throw of the campsite), where you'll find clams, oysters, cockles, mussels, periwinkles, prawns, etc.
