During your stay in La Plaine-sur-Mer, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Jade coast and its simple pleasures. Among them, fishing on foot, a real institution in La Plaine-sur-Mer, or swimming and relaxing on the beaches located at a stone's throw from the campsite.

Fishing on foot

Bicycle and hiking trails

The campsite is approved as a "bicycle welcoming" location by the Vélodyssée and has a bicycle rental service. From the campsite, multiple cycle paths allow you to discover the Jade coast. From La Plaine-sur-Mer you can follow the Vélocéan, a cycle path, along the coast and even join the Loire by bike at Saint Brevin-les-Pins. For hiking enthusiasts, directly from the campsite, you can catch up with an old customs path (Sentier des Douaniers) and discover wonderful landscapes at your own pace.

The beaches, Tharon-Plage and Saint Michel-Chef-Chef

Less than 500 m from the campsite, you will find a first large beach of fine sand: the beach of La Tara.

A small seaside village in the Loire Atlantique, Tharon-Plage brings a touch of authenticity to the heart of the Jade coast near Nantes. Belonging to the municipality of Saint Michel-Chef-Chef, this large beach of fine sand of 4.5 km is nestled between the village and La Plaine-sur-Mer. Ideal for enjoying the joys of the beach with family or friends, Tharon-Plage offers you everything you need: a shopping street, ice cream shop, children's play area but above all an exceptional natural landscape.

The port of La Gravette

Just a few metres from the campsite, discover the port of La Gravette, a small port of character in La Plaine-sur-Mer. The port of La Gravette is particularly appreciated for its double vocation: a fishing port of about 35 boats and a marina were nearly 300 boats can be located. A hold to put your boat in the water is available at the port.

As a family, discover the marine spirit and take your little ones to discover the beach and the boats.

A bit further, l'Abri du Cormier will allow you to enjoy a small natural beach between the rocks near the Gravette.

A holiday near Saint Michel-Chef-Chef

What is better than staying by the sea for a perfect holiday and enjoying the fresh sea air. Camping La Guichardière is only 10 minutes by car from the splendid beaches of Saint Michel-Chef-Chef and the famous factory of the Galettes Saint-Michel, extremely well-known and appreciated in France.

All you have to do is think about the shovels and rakes and go to the hot sand to enjoy the sun in this magnificent setting.
